Nissan Skyline RB25 RB26 Transmission Shifter Rear Housing Gasket PARONITE Material
Paronite is designed as light duty gasket material. It is a compressed mixture based on chrysotile asbestos fibers, synthetic rubber or natural rubber, sulfur and other modifying additives. It can be found in sealing water, stream, salt solutions and water-based solution.
Asbestos rubber sheet (paronite) is fabricated in sheets and these units are made specifically for the Nissan Skyline RB25DET Transmission & RB26DETT Transmission to reduce heat transfer into the shifter and reduce vibration at high RPM.
It is highly suggested for any application, including Street & Race cars.
This is a great addition to our Race Spec Lockout Shifters to keep the shifter handle as cool as possible with minimal vibrations.
